Oleksandr Dyomin is senior research fellow of ISMA, NAS of Ukraine. He deals with the problems of medical imaging and nuclear medicine during past 20 years. He stood at the origins of development and creation of Ukrainian gamma cameras. For over 15 years he teaches at Karazin Kharkiv National University, gives courses of medical imaging and digital data processing.
• Theoretical studying of physical properties of contacts between superconductors and normal metals, magnetic and stochastic properties of superconducting materials.
• Computational physics, Internet and networking technologies. 25 years of experience of implementation of computer and networks to scientific departments of Institute for Single Crystals and Institute for Scintillation materials. Development of ISMA Grid cluster.
• Responsible for development of software for medical equipment, scintillation detectors, R&D in the field of mathematical methods of computer tomography and digital signal processing in real time for acquisition systems. Head of projects concerning with Grid usage for medical systems.
